Use a spelling and grammar checker on the content before submitting. Problem solved.

And I will continue to delete the gripe threads. They serve no purpose. All the information you need to correct the "problem" being complained about is here:

It's not my reviewers job to edit your posts. If you can't be bothered to take the time to check the spelling and grammar, expect it to be declined.

Ya the review system on 1waylinks is corrupt now. The old reviewers were awesome, the new ones play politics and don't accept anything.

I have 1,500 credits sitting here because I can't even BUY an article that will get accepted.

Now that's just sad.

Jon, C'mon, you're going to lose a TON of customers because you're reviewers are corrupt.

You should fix this problem and make us all happy.
Thanks

Corrupt? Lol. That's genuinely funny.

It's the same reviewers (plus a new hire), just stricter standards imposed by me.

All it takes is a post with proper spelling and grammar that follows the content and linking guidelines. Eighty five percent of posts get approved. I'm afraid you're mistaken about the "politics" and conspiracy. The reviewers don't even see who you are when you submit.

Jon

Grammar checkers don't work on spun content, Jon.

Thus, the extra 2 hours per article I have to spend going through it manually.

It's despicable the way you talk to paying customers. Instead of fighting them, listen to them. If you notice 50 blogs and all their posts disappear from the network, don't be surprised.

What's "funny" is when you spend 30 minutes spinning an article you paid $8 for, only to have it rejected.

What's even funnier is when you resubmit that same article and it gets accepted without changing anything.

Sorry man that's something seriously wrong with the review process.

When power users start complaining, you know something is wrong.

That's why you should be careful in selecting synonyms in the spun content. Two hours of doing it right is worth the results you'll get from it.

I apologize if my responses sound harsh, but I have little patience for my hard working employees being called "corrupt" because somebody doesn't want to take the time to produce quality. And I'm growing tired of rehashing the same discussion over and over.

I will continue to say it: 85% get approved, including 85% of spun posts with 50%+ uniqueness. It's not that difficult.

Power users tend to create the lowest quality content, actually. Power users were the ones submitting thousands of garbage posts and ignoring all feedback and warnings from the reviewers.

Can you at least tell the reviewers to be consistent?

Everyone should be held to the same standard, I see junk
posts when I look at my 1WL backlinks all the time Jon.

Can you provide some examples via PM? It's very important to me that 1WL become a known standard in quality.

Why is it so important to you? Did someone insult 1waylinks? It's certainly not that it's stopped working all of a sudden. It's never been known for outstanding quality. And yet, it's still provided its users with measurable results. Is this more of an ego thing for you personally, Jon? I think that a better solution would be to create a network of much higher quality from scratch, one that would be synonymous with quality from the beginning; not to try and change and subsequently take away a powerful workhorse for many people.

You say the two hours extra per article is worth it. That is your opinion, certainly not mine. I value the extra 8-10 hours I would get with my family per week, apparently much more than you. Have you ever considered that some of your users cannot afford the changes you're trying to impose on the network? I'm not necessarily talking about the the extra money that they'll have to pay their employees to be more thorough, but the time that they themselves might now need to take out of their days to do the work themselves? Time is money, after all.

You keep shooting that 85% statistic at us as well, but I find it a little hard to believe. The standard of quality of some of the posts that are getting declined are exceptional. I can't see how very many people, let alone 85%, have better quality.

No ego. It's all about results. In order for the network to stay viable for the foreseeable future, the quality had to go up. Way up. I am making that happen. It's clearly stepping on the toes of a few who don't care about quality, but I am fine with that.

The mere fact that you reject the statistics given to you by the owner and operator of the network shows me how fruitless it is to debate this with you. I'm sorry you have found yourself in the 15% whose quality is unacceptable under the new standards. Only you can fix that. The other 85% are happily submitting their posts.

I am locking this thread, and will delete all new ones that attempt to rehash the same junk. You don't want to produce quality, and 1WL requires it now. Let's just leave it at that.
