Getting de-indexed?
« on: September 19, 2011, 10:28:16 AM »
Has anyone ever had their Adsense site de-indexed as a result of using 3 Way Links?

I'm looking into getting the program, but I've been reading on DigitalPoint and WarriorForum that this and other such software will leave a footprint that will ultimately lead to Google de-indexing your site or possibly banning your Adsense account altogether.

Thanks,
Joel

Hello Joel

I run Adsense on sites in the 3waylinks program since 2007 - if google wants to kick me out of the program because of the 3waylinks footprint, I don't know what they are waiting for ;)

Seriously most cases where people get kicked out of adsense is because they either violate the adsense content guidelines or they build crap sites, cram them full of adsense ads and hope for big money. what then happens is the following:
They find tools like 3waylinks, use it, their sites start to get better rankings which means they start to earn a little bit of money because of the greater visibility of their site and the resulting traffic. More traffic also means more competitors start to see the crap sites and complain at google why a crap site is outranking them -> that leads to a manual de-indexing of the site. Not because of a footprint or anything like that but because it was a crap site from the beginning and after making it visible to lots of people (after all that is the goal of 3waylinks...) it became obvious to google.

What would you suggest is a good amount of good content to have on your site?  5, 10, 50, 100 pages, etc?

Also, do you have to walk a fine line between having good enough content to pass a Human review from Google and too much good content that no one will feel the need to click on your ads?

Thanks,
Joel

That is a difficult question. I think 5 to 10 pages is the bare minimum. But I think it is a good idea never to stop putting up good content (what means good btw? - this is all relative).
Is it possible to have too much good content? Hmm, if you write about physical products your ads will probably promote those physical products, so if you write lots of good stuff about espresso machines you will probably never have enough good content and people are always clicking your ads.
If you write about information products and provide all information in your articles people will probably never click your ads.

There is no hard numer that is corrorect for all sites (say if you have more 37 good content pages, people will stop clicking your ads).

Never forget - clicks on your ads are made by real people - try to build sites that you could show your friends ands they would say: "Wow cool site I like it".
Then you can try to get more visitors, split test ad positions etc to maximize the income from the site.

Hmm I think it depends on the competition of the keyword and commercial value of it I had a site in 3waylinks ranked for the phrase work from home number 1 on google nz and number 4 on google .com it got de indexed in 2008 and although I tried to get an explantion all google would give me was generic type replies and to refer to web master tools guidelines.

my site was removed from the 3 way link program and I applied to Google  for inclusion back in the index it took 4 months to do so but I finally got the site back in the index today I am now back at number 1 on google nz for work from home and dont use 3way links.

To be honest I cant say 100% for sure that it was three way links that caused this to happen maybe it was a manual reviewer having a bad day however there was only two thing i changed

Instead of having a html site I used wordpress and just reposted the same content and the site was automatically pulled from 3ways because it was deindexed.

Thankfully today it is back at number 1 however sadly i dropped back to page 4 on google.com ....

Some of my sites seem to do ok with 3 waylinks others however lose pagerank and rankings. with no other changes so it is hard to guauge.
