How Long does it take to have links appear in Google or Alexa

I have been using this service now for the last 2 weeks, and am able to see the sites that I am Linking to. I have gone to those sites and have seen my backlink back to my site.
I am using a few tools, such as CPanel, Alexa and Google to see how my site is doing, and i see no mention of any of the backlinks.
How long does it take to have these tools recognize this strategy of 3WLinks?
Do i need to be setting anything up in my Wordpress?

That's a very variable thing. If you do a search for the pages linking to you are they showing up in the SE's? If they are then that is a good thing. You are benefiting from those links.

SE's will never reveal all the backlinks they have in their crawl records - that'd be giving too much info out.

You will likely see your links showing up over weeks and months. For example, Alexa updates once a month but only ever show a link from a single source once. Other SE's do differently.

Don't worry too much about it, just keep on working the system consistently and you'll get there.

Hi Steffen

You can use tools like opensiteexplorer.com and openlinkgraph.com to find more links - those are quite good at finding backlinks.
Nevertheless don't worry if they don't find all backlinks, I guess there will never be atool that can reveal all backlinks google knows about...
