Links page issue
« on: December 02, 2011, 06:14:44 AM »
Hi All,

I just joined up 3WL. Everything is fine and looks promising except after review my site was declined due to the following reason:

(snip:read the rules)

The links page layout must match the rest of your site layout, including such things as content area width, foreground and background color, formatting, sidebars, navigation menus and images.

So my question is, what I have to do in order to pass the review is making the links page exactly the same with the homepage? I have read the setup guide but I really don't want to create a duplicate version of the homepage even (especially) sidebars need to be added). Can anyone please advise how to incorporate lesser elements to pass the review? Thanks in advance!

You need to rework the HTML Code for header and footer. I always switch to view source code than copy all the code until the main content comes into the header then skip the main content and copy the rest of the code to the footer.
Of course you need to take care that all opened html tags are closed again. In your case take a look where the code for the sidebar is, beacuse that seems to be the part that is missing for a consistent look and feel.

if you are not familiar with HTML code and stuff, take a look at my sig, maybe I can help.
