Does it matter if I have listed my site as www.abc.com etc when the actual wordpress website address is http://abc.com, without the www

just interested if this actually effects the links purpose within the search engines eyes

Yes - it matters. Technically the www address is a subdomain - that could be completely unrelated content wise. It hurts your rankings when part of of your links go to www and the other part goes to the version without www.

On top of that validation in 3wl will probably not work as the system will have difficulty to find the resource page..

Yes, right now there is no other way to edit the domain - you have to delete it and reenter with the correct domain.

Mike, thanks for that, re added and all went well, one other question is can I add pages from my domain as separate entries etc or is it better to just add the main page

It is not possible to build links to inner pages with 3waylinks. If you want to do that, take a look at Jon's other product - namely 1waylinks and Mywaylinks. Or send me a PM if you don't want to sign up to another service but need a few extra links to inner pages.

There is no need to enter the protocol (http://) - 3waylinks only wants the domain name.
