Site Approved In 3 Way Links
« on: January 27, 2012, 08:16:24 AM »
Hi, I joined the 3waylinks program about three weeks ago and I have had the devils own job getting my sites accepted.

Mainly the sites have been declined for the use of disapproved words which any normal person would never even consider being offensive but as 3waylinks is a worldwide use product, presumably Jon has built in a safety net for the benefit of everyone who uses 3waylinks.

The interesting thing is that most of the content I am using for the range of blogs which I am testing on 3waylinks, comes from Article Builder. I am using Bloghatter in conjunction with Article Builder to build blogs that are self feeding articles over a wide range of subjects.

As each site was declined I searched diligently for the offending words which vary from the likes of 'christmas' 'yoga' 'meditation' 'witchcraft' etc and gradually the sites have been accepted.

Does anyone know if the sites can be subsequently declined as new content which may contain these offending words is drip fed to the blogs?

While I appreciate your frustration with sites being declined that use ArticleBuilder content since they are both my products, you have to understand that AB will post to your own blogs and you can modify the content as you see fit. If anything offends you, you can remove it. That's your right since it's PLR and you own the blog.

The 1WL/3WL users cannot change ANYTHING about the posts/links that get put on their sites. It's against the TOS of both services. They have to leave it exactly like it was when it was put there. That means we have to be very careful about the kind of content we allow, since we're dealing with so many different cultures, people, backgrounds, countries, etc.

Jonathan, thanks for your reply.

I fully appreciate why the content needs to be 'safe' but your comments are not an answer to my question which was 'Does anyone know if the sites can be subsequently declined as new content which may contain these offending words is drip fed to the blogs?'

I recently bought bloghatter, a superb product which enables one to utilise the power of Article Builder and The Best Spinner and many more features such as creating and scheduling posts for future posting to a large number of blogs.

My concern is that over the coming months content is going to be posted to a large number of blogs, content sourced from among others, Article Builder. If some of that content contains one of the 'banned' words such as 'christmas' 'yoga' 'meditation' etc will my sites be removed from the network?

Sorry I didn't answer your question John. The sites are periodically reviewed for content quality, yes, and if they are found to have content that violates the TOS, then you risk being removed from the network.

Thanks again for your reply.

I will ensure that 2 or 3 times a month I do a check for offending words.

Hopefully if a site is removed from the network it is a temporary removal, allowing me the opportunity to remove potentially offending words, as it would be almost impossible to check all of my sites daily.

Jon, this might seem like a daft point but here goes. ;)

If one is adding content from other sources, which is not a bad idea to do, then one has an ongoing issue not under the control of the webmaster. The webmaster does not know the words that cause offence to 'the system'.

Is it possible to produce a plugin that contains a dynamic list of stop words generated by yourselves that would notify webmasters whenever anything goes onto the site that would cause a problem.

So, as one adds an article the plugin would scan during publication and inform the webmaster and place the article into unpublished or draft mode with the offending word(s) highlighted for editing by the webhamster.

Yes, it's temporary. If your site gets removed you can correct the issue and resubmit for review.

Anything is possible, but that's not on the schedule at the moment.
