I've decided that I really needed to completely overhaul JLForums.com for the sake of its users. I knew that they could be getting so much more out of it, that it could look so much better, and that it could have an even stronger presence in the search engines than it already does.
To that end, I've made some major upgrades to the forum that will benefit you:
1. Added an
Exclusive Special Offers board for deals you can't get anywhere else.
2. Added a Trader System to allow members to build reputation when buying and selling.
3. Added advanced formatting features for embedding YouTube videos, advanced formatting of posts, etc.
4. Added a "My Bookmarks" system that you can use to keep track of your favorite informational threads.
5. Added a Socialize feature that makes it easy for you to share great posts and threads on your favorite Social Networks.
6. Upgraded to a much more advance version of the SMF Forum that makes all of the above possible.

http://jlforums.com/advanced-features-of-this-forum/I will be much more focused on adding case studies and detailed helpful information to the forum starting in 2012. It's one of my goals, and it's already off to a great start (even though it's still 2011)!
