Why do these people continue to try and SPAM JLForum??  :-\

DO THEY NOT KNOW, THAT THIS SITE IS BEING WATCHED BY IT'S MEMBERS CONSTANTLY?

They're robots, mostly, so they don't care! Good morning here HoneyJo - just up. See it's getting towards bedtime for you over there.

Meg's right

The people behind this don't even come on to the forum

That's why this is the most spammed part of the forum

It's the first topic the robot finds

Truthfully, I hate to see anyone/machine, try to lower the value of JLForums...
I have no doubt that I jump the gun in late night post (and complaints), I need to work on that), when I see a post that is obviously spam (prior to a moderator) noticing it), I immediatly post! SORRY!

OK, maybe I finally understand... It is just a problem for me (not the moderators) actually for for other REAL forums also, when we come to the site and see all of the spam posted.

Waste of time, and energy to even report it...

Personally, I don't like it, and sorry to tell you, that more than likley, I will contiinue to report it... Sorry, it is one of those things!

HJ

It's fine to report it - the moderators don't always see it straight away and at least if you report it, you get the satisfaction of pointing it out, so someone CAN delete it!

Honey Jo, I do the same thing.  When I see spam I immediately report it to the moderators just in case they haven't seen it yet.  If I waste my time reading I can take a few seconds more to click on Report To Moderator and report it.  So you are not by yourself in doing this.

The moderators will just have to live with us doing this or remove the Report to Moderator button if they don't duplicate reminders.  :)

It's not as much getting satisfaction from getting it removed as it is I want as few people as possible to see their spam.  That provides them very little benefit from the spam they are posting.

I can live with it Ed

Moderators are sometimes busy doing other things so by reporting it you are
telling any moderator that's monitoring their own email address the opportunity to come here
and delete the post so I would like to say a big thank you to any member that reports spam

It does help

That reply was intended as tongue in cheek.  :)
