AA and Internet Explorer 9 - AA not working

I have windows 7 64 bit and AA 1.44. I upgraded to IE 9 yesterday.

Now AA is not returning any answer for any questions generated by the software or even if i enter a simple word such as Cancer. Either way I get no answer results! I have now unistalled IE 9 and it seems to work again. Also I have tried to find out how I can re-install IE 8 but Microsoft will not allow you to download IE 8 for Windows 7 only IE 9.

Please can you test this and see if IE 9 works on Windows 7 64 bit?

Update: I have now submitted a support ticket. I have had to re-install IE 9 since other programs I use need IE. I tried it again and can confirm that AA does not work when IE 9 is installed. Also it is not possible to re-install IE 8. I get a message IE 8 does not run with my operating system when trying to install. Microsoft does not allow you to download IE 8 now if you have windows 7. All links point to IE 9


Please help.

Yes Meg but its now not possible to install IE 8 on a Windows 7 machine. I tried to do that but all the downloads a MS point to IE 9. They make you upgrade and the AA does not work. I purchase AA recently through John special offer and now I can't get it to work. Support should look into this.

You may want to look at this from microsoft

I have ie8 but don't use it. I use chrome browser so I haven't upgraded. Glad I didn't

Okay, as of version 1.441, Answer Analyst will work with Internet Explorer 9.

Download the latest version from here:

http://answeranalyst.com/?action=getlatestversion

You might need to clear your browser's cache to prevent it from using an old, cached copy of the setup file.
