Answer Analyst 1.41 errors

Hi there...

Bought new laptop...win vista, had XPPro.

#1. Answer Analyst 1.41 now demanding Registration code every time I open it up.
#2. Unhandled exception has occurred in your application...etc.
     Finishes with Access to the path"C:\Program Files(x86)\Answer Analyst\LICENCE.TXT" Is denied.

Gives options to continue etc but just won't work at all.

Also NicheHord pretty much demands that I download "new version 1.21" every time I start it.

The same data comes up the same for the last three days "44 active clients. 3,772,863 keywords". Really wonder what's going on? ???

PS: Have had 1 Way Links strongly recommended to me, would like to see these issues resolved before I invest further.

Geoff.....
I think your laptop is 64 bit....try "right clicking" on the program, either on the icon, or from the listing in your start menu, and choose "run as administrator". You'll then have to enter your lisence again, but you won't have to do it anymore after that. You WILL have to start the program this way every time (right click and run as admin), but it should run fine.

I don't have Niche Hord so I can't help with that one. I CAN tell you that I have purchased a lot of Jon's software over the last few years, and loved all of it....he makes the tools that do what others can't....and he always fixes the bugs!

Yes it is 64 bit...and yes it is working. Just testing it now.
