UPDATE: I just logged in and generated some articles in Article Builder. The restoration has literally only just finished, but access should be good again. Apologies to everyone for how long it's taken.
First, we are aware that there is currently still an access problem to Article Builder.
We apologize for the inconvenience and frustration it's causing you. It's not a good situation, we know. It's been caused by factors outside our immediate control, so there are limits to how fast we can rectify this.
The datacenter that holds our hosting has had two massive issues on top of each other. That's why it's taking them so long to restore the database (which is huge) and get the site fully functional again.
It's not the way we want things to be, but on a practical basis we're doing all we can right now to get things back to normal.
We are hassling them as much as we can to get this finished. Unfortunately, we do not have a definite timescale - they had hoped to have it finished in the early hours of this morning.
As a result of the outage, as soon as things are back to normal, we'll look at the best way to make it up to all of you for the inconvenience and frustration you've all had to go through.
We'll make a proper announcement to everyone who has been affected as soon as things are up and running again.
