Buying domain KW taken

Hi Jon,

What is the general rule for purchasing a good KW domain name?

My understanding is for example: Niche Golf

KW - Left Hand Swing  can't get .com .org .net

Best - LeftHandSwingOnline.com  / .org / .net  (the word online is just an example would be better to relate to golf)

Second - LeftHand-Swing.com / .org / .net

What are your thoughts on this Jon?

I used keywordsnatcher to look at the keywords associated with golf swing. The first keyword I came to that had a dotcom available was golfswingexplained

They are positioning ranks BUT they do not rank the KWs against each other. If you find a KW you like on the snatcher, why not look at it in Google keyword and see how many searches there are for it each month? Also look at the competition.

Hi Mark

To expand on Megs explanation. If you type a word into google then a drop down box appears with ten keyword phrases.

The numbers you mention are the positions of those phrases in google, yahoo etc

Example >> If I type in the word golf into google the drop down box reads
 golf bidder, golf, golf clubs, golf direct, golf games, golf world rankings, golf shoes, golf breaks, golf clothing and golf swing

That is the order 1 through 10
