Hey people
With the new and improved way Jon has set up of max of 10 links in your account until you get some published, I thought I would post my findings as to the length of time from posting to "live article" with link.

Here is the current list of sites we can post to, with my findings so far -- care to add?

EzineArticles.com -- up to 1 week for acceptance, usually around 24 - 48 hours if you have a Platinum account Also, 3 word or less anchor text links only
ArticleDashboard.com -- varies, can be one day, can be one week
iSnare.com
Buzzle.com
ArticlesFactory.com approx 1 day
ArticleBiz.com up to 6 weeks with free account, they say 48 hours if you pay $1 per submission, min of $10 in your account
TheFreeLibrary.com approx. 1 day
ArticlesAlley.com within a few hours (if you link to them from your own blog or website)
Gather.com - instant
ArticleSlash.net - instant
SooperArticles.com approx 1 day
ArticleBlast.com - instant

Articles Alley within a few hours (if you link to them from your own blog or website). Not sure how long they take if you don't link to them though.

The problem is with Jon's "new system" in place you can earn the grand total of $5 in "a few hours" because it's not until you can confirm your url that'll you get credited and by then any additional links that were available will be long gone!

Not exactly an ideal situation. I think more work needs done back at the drawing board on this one.

Ten links? I've gotten them one at a time! Which means I'm forced to limit where I publish them.

Maybe you need to rethink how you work this aspect of your business. If you keep your account at "no articles needing completion" at all times, the owners of the links will be happy, as their links that they paid for are published asap.

You should be happy as you have a clean slate to accept 10 new links at any one time that they come available. And other authors are happy as all have a better chance of getting links.
That's the purpose of this thread, so all can see which sites post immediately, and which take longer -- so the total articles needing completion in your account can be kept at a minimum.

I think it is a good way for all to benefit, not some who develop tools to take all links at once, as per Jon's thread

well, that is different. I can add up to 10 articles per day on article slash, each with up to 3 links. so I think the submission limits vary from author to author.

I've see that I'm in the level 1 with limit 3 articles per day! and 3 self serving links

I have 2 articles still waiting for review at ArticleBiz, posted 13 May and 17 May. They now say it will take up to 6 weeks for a review, (upgraded from 4 weeks). Well, the 6 weeks is up tomorrow - I'm not hopeful they will publish and well outside the 30 day limit for Cash4Links.

Of course, If I pay them $1.00 per article, (minimum credit purchase is $10.00), they say they will review within 48 hours.

I've used these 2 articles as a test of their free service. If they do not publish within the 6 weeks promised, I shall then pay them the $10.00 to see what that service is like. However, I think I shall be spending most of my time on the sites that do not require payment.

I think as the number of your articles rises, so does your level. I was submitting and all of a sudden I received a "level 3" notice. I dunno what the next level is, have to submit more to find out. I will post here when I find out, if someone else doesn't beat me to it

Thanks for the heads up on that one

I agree, paying to get paid when you can do it for free seems wrong, other than it is a different linking source.

Angel, I have used the paid with artbiz, it works very well and have never had to wait 48 hours, get my results within 6-8 hours.

The articles are published clean and are very visible with Article Biz, However, I personally do not think they are any better than
Gather and you can put pics in your Gather articles.
