You should be busy on the content sites if you need the money that bad. My friend Barb works IT for a major US firm and writes through one of these firms simply because she loves to write and gets a kick out of the fact that someone pays her for her work. She tells me they are backed up... backed up... for getting articles out the door. Her PayPal accounts stands at over $2,500 now as she just lets the money accumulate because she wants to use it to buy out the remaining interest in her father's home which she owns with her brother.  Barb writes so good, so good, I'm trying to talk her into writing for the magazines where the real money is at. The web site owners want her to go full-time but with a six-figure income from her regular job that isn't going to happen

Tradeview, 8)

I personally am not doing bad at the moment, but as I said my son's have serious problems financially.

They were both running major construction jobs (they are both union fire-sprinkler fitters) and one lives
in Vegas the other in Dallas.  The one in Vegas is/was running crews that install the systems in the towers
of the new casinos.  The one in Dallas is/was running hospital jobs.

Due to the economy, both were told by their bosses to lay all of their men off, and were themselves laid off.

Luckily, they had been able to save up a little money, but most of the guys who worked under them were not..

My finances have improved greatly in the last month (started with C4L) and has grown from there.

I do reallllly love to write (as you can probably tell by my long post).  ;D

So I am sending you a PM, who knows I might get to make a lot at something I love to do.. :D

I appreciate you thinking of me,

Joyce

I sent you that info as requested. Barb reports that because she contributes on a regular basis and they've come to realize she is extremely reliable her earnings per article has increased steadily well beyond the base amount.  8)

;D

Seriously... are you waiting by your computer in the hope of grabbing these links as they dribble in one at a time?

Tell me it isn't so!  ::)
Well, Tradeview,
Some of us sit on our computer writing articles for our websites, and waiting for C4L to "do a dump" is not difficult to do as well.  It is one source of our income, and a great motivator to get those links out for our own sites as well through our article writing.

Now leona that I have sent you that info you may become too busy to wait around here.  8)

Look, I appreciate C4L and I want to see it grow. But, if this is all you are doing then it isn't the best use of your time. And the current dribble of one link at a time can only lead to further slowing the system down which some advertisers are already complaining about as apparently they have never tried to get articles pushed through these directories.  ::)

Now Tradeview,
Thank you for your "suggestion" as to what may or may not be the best use of MY time  ;)
I still don't think advertisers are complaining, merely voicing suggestions to make C4L work more efficiently (as we all are).

Funny, I was reading how one fellow didn't like how quick some of the links went up onto certain sites (Gather?) and yet didn't like how long it took for links to go up in the various directories. Sounded like a complaint to me..  ::)

Now Tradeview,
I don't recall seeing the post of a complaint, more like a suggestion to improve.  Could be cause I am not looking for complaints?? I like to maintain a positive focus -- "you reap what you sow", or "you get what you paid for", or "what you focus on expands".
