This forum and site cash4links was hacked by some kind of virus for two days. I am very glad that they got it back.

Yeah, 'I think most of us knew that it was hacked'.

All of Jon's sites were hacked!  Including my affiliate blogs, & all his links.

Most of us (sure you have too) have seen it happen many times to others.

Jon is one of the best known, has one of the largest forum's, and is also
one of few really good Gu-Gu's on line, that is why he was hacked.  

Whoever did it thought they could do him a lot of harm.  

But guess what, they may have even done him a favor, he will come
back stronger, with more security and even more popular than ever.

Just some demon possessed idiot's who had nothing better to do
than try to bring down the 'GOOD GUY!'  Something the people
who did it were jealous of..

Never once did I think they could bring him down.  He not only is
extremely smart, but he has the BIG GUY on his side.  
Plus a darn good staff.

I did some research and the knothead who done it seems to be in Saudi Arabia. If you Google "SarBoT511" you'll find that fool's handiwork all over the place.

Right on!!  I checked it out also, was the idiot hard up for something
to do or what..

He gained nothing, made Jon even more popular, and made his ----
stink even worse than it did before.

If there were some serious AMERICAN punishment when it was known
who did these act's (as in this time) they may stop. 

So even though we actually have an IP and all, they get away with it
so far.

Something's wrong with this picture, bet if you or I did that, someone
would come knocking on our door..

Unfortunately the implications of what this nitwit is capable of doing is very serious in the sense of how his kind is continuously trying to hack government sites and even installations. This is worrisome when you consider our nuclear arsenal.

And truthfully, he may not have anything better to do. I wouldn't be surprised if he's being paid to do this sort of thing.

I noticed the site was hacked, but to my surprise, I did not hear anything from Jon or his staff.

I think they should at least us about the breach and suggest us to update our login passwords since the current login is no longer safe...shouldn't we also receive some assurance that they have done something bla bla bla to make make us feel more secure about the site? I mean, some of us can use the same logins for our other sites...

More than likely, they had no way to contact us, as all information was on the
main data base....

I contacted Jon as soon as the site(s) went down. Remember, he and his wife were away on their anniversary. I suspect the hacker mutt planned his attack at the precise moment he felt Jon was away and wouldn't be able to respond quickly.

I think it was more important that he got his sites back up as quickly as possible then attempting to compose an email to send to thousands of his customers.

These things happen. And Jon's sites were not the only ones who've been hacked by this idiot. I'm just glad he's back online and as far as I can tell there aren't any side effects left in the system. That's to be seen yet however.
