How to contact Articledashboard???
« on: May 15, 2010, 08:47:27 PM »
I saw elsewhere someone refer to articledashboard as {snip: bad language removed}, now I know why. I need to change my email address I can't find anywhere to edit it. So I figure, not a problem I'll just write to them. Their 'contact us' page has the following on it:

Article Dashboard wants to hear from you! We value your feedback, please contact us with your comments and suggestions today!

The rest of the page is empty so how??? >:(

Please if anyone knows how to either change your email or get in touch with articledashboard I would appreciate you letting me know.

So far the only solution appears to be to create a new account which, probably isn't any big deal.

I'm really starting to wonder about AD. I received the following when I emailed them.

The following message to <feedback@articledashboard.com> was undeliverable.
The reason for the problem:
5.1.0 - Unknown address error 550-'"JunkMail rejected -
outbound.icp-qv1-irony-out3.iinet.net.au\n[203.59.1.148] is in an RBL, see
Sender has sent to LashBack Unsubscribe\nProbe accounts"'

The IP they're saying is blacklisted is my ISP's mail server, one of top ISP's in the country, so I doubt it's blacklisted. In fact Lashback that they quote monitors unsubscribe links and is not a normal blacklist ie RBl it is a UBL. This may sound like paranoia but it looks like they're configured to reject any email on this pretext. The use of Lashback seems to imply that they expect normal email to have a certified unsubscribe link.

Joyce, I see that you haven't received any sort of reply so maybe there's something more to it. It's very weird. I'll have to see what the ISP reckons to it.

Looks like I'll just have to create a new account and see what happens with that.

Has anyone else received a similar email rejection?

scraggz,

To the best of my knowledge, if you are using your blog
email address at stancraigie.com, your blog mail is being
blocked..
You will have to either add them as safe or if that is not
possible, contact the company that host you blog and
have them ad them to the safe list.

Hope I'm right, and think I am.  Good Luck, cause if they
are being blocked who else is?

I tried to email them twice and get the same "undeliverable" message...I think article dashboard is run by software and not people if you ask me...

For what it's worth, an article I submitted 7/7 is still "awaiting review".  I'm not wasting my time with Article Dashboard any more. Too many other well-monitored article directories out there.

This is the reason I find the current Cash4Link system wanting. Grab a link, wait days for an article to get approved... waste of time.

waste of time

Tradeview, 8)

It sure has not been a waste of time for me.

In reality, my little writing business has escalated to the point that I will have to
start turning people down (until I can afford to hire Miss TBS) ::)

Just joking Meg, but C4L has been a tremendous help to me.

Of course, if some of my clients knew that would have written for them free, just
cause I love writing, that could have been bad for me.. :D

To late for them to find that out now, cause now they have to pay a little to get me..
I love being in demand! Not in too much demand yet, but enough to make me happy.

The writing is as much pleasure as it is work for me and when one of my clients needs
editing or approval for articles someone else has already written or if they need a
re-write I get to do that too.  Just boomerangs from one thing to another.  Loving it~  :-*

All because of Cash4Links.  So Tradeview, 8)  it ain't all bad, most is good~

Well Joyce,

Am sooo happy you are considering outsourcing your business due to your success.  You deserve it, stuck way up in that Texas back country like you are.  ;D

And for the record, I agree, article writing is still in hot demand, and the prices paid to write can be quite lucrative, IF you weed out the ones who run a "sweat factory" operation.  That's all part and parcel of running your own business, of course - the ability to pick and choose the best option for you and your sanity  ;)

Later
Leona :)
