Thanks Meg, for your reply, and if I were to understand correctly, what makes a site secure is the very fact that they control it. Linking an unsecured site to a secured link would not make the link secure, know what I mean?
I have tried it multiple ways, on different article sites (that have NO issues with my other links being accepted), no target appears. Only the secure site link is the issue. This is my first secure site link I have need to submit.
If this is going to be an issue with C4L and secure site links, perhaps it could be imposed that no advertiser links to secure sites, or perhaps someone with C4L could verify the link works and manually credit the account?
The latter suggestion sounds like more work than it needs to be, perhaps there is a way to submit that I know not of. At any rate, if all options have been exhausted, I will simply ask for the link to be removed from my account and allow someone else the
"privilege" of submitting the link the way C4L wants done. I am at a loss.
My best guess
AT THIS PRESENT MOMENT, with my current understanding, is for this one, to manually verify the link; and then not allow "https" links for this reason.
Leona
