I just wondered if I am the only one that can't seem to get there in time to get any links to write for. I answer my email as soon as possible when new links come out but they are always gone/ How are ya'll getting links to write for ?

Hi Gail, and welcome
Some of us have a dedicated email that we set up for C4L notices to comes to, and use a Firefox plug in to alert us LOUDLY when there is mail.  Once alerted, we IMMEDIATELY, before checking the mail, go to our constantly  OPEN C4L and click refresh, trying to get links.

Some of us merely have C4L constantly open in a tabbed browser, and from time to time, as the spirit moves us  , we hit "refresh" and see if there are any links.

On a side note, I have found that there has not been a "flood" of links for a while, could be because of Jon's new program that will make article writing streamlined.  People may be awaiting the release to the masses of this product, and then get their own articles and links done. I am not saying that it is the reason, just a "surmising" in my spare time.

Thanks Leona, The Cask4links is such a good idea.I will keep trying.Maybe as more people find out about it they will order more links.Thanks for your help. Love this forum.

The problem might be that there is too many publisher using Gather.
I dont know if i am the only one but all the links(80%) I bought are on Gather and none of them are indexed pages.
Not really usefull imo. 
As long as it will be like this the remainer of my account will remain there.

I would suggest to remove Gather. or if you advertiser can have choice of which directory they want keeping ezinearticles as not the compulsory option. Because ezinearticles does have lots of restrictions.

Sdrkee, You must not be thinking right this morning..

Removing Gather and any other directories that have instant approval
would mean a wait of from 4 days to 8 weeks for approval.

Therefore you could not get new links (re:10 link limit), until the article
directory you submitted to approved your article and you had it approved
by C4L.

Which would mean, it might be possible that you could only write 10 or so
articles a month for C4L.

Now, I am one of the many writers who LOVE to write for C4L, but we
must also get credit for articles in a timely manner.  So we can obtain
new articles as they become available. 

Thus, instant or at least fast approval!

I have checked some posts on gather that were posted yesterday and they are indexed.
So if the articles our backlinks are on for many weeks are not indexed I would suspect that the articles dont pass
Google copyscape and are already indexed on some other articles site.
I did not checked that though. I didnt checked on Yahoo either.
