Hi,

I've set up lots of websites on the system, and requested one link for each (to start with).  I was charged $5 from my account for each of these.

So on the summary screen, all these sites are showing a goal of 1.

Some of the sites have got their 1 link - no problem.

Others have received 2 or 3 links, even though only 1 was requested, and are showing that in the links column - and the links are there when you click through.

Now that's ok - you said in advance that there might be some overage - so I'm cool with that.  I'm guessing that when a site has received 3 links, I've been charged for all 3 right?  After all, the authors have to be paid for what they've done.  So that's fine too - no complaints.

My question (at last) is this:

I therefore have some sites showing a goal of 1, and links received of 3.   If I now go in and request a total of 5 links, - will I be charged for 4 links at that point (goal minus target) or only 2 links (goal minus actual)?

(Hypothetically - what would happen if I asked for a total of 3 links - ie the number I already have?  Would the system not charge me any more, and not deliver any work to authors - since it's already been done?)

Just trying to understand the system...
