Sneaky Editorial Guidelines
« on: June 24, 2010, 05:31:26 PM »
I recieved an email from EzineArticles saying that they wouldn't accept my article because it had a link to a site about spinners (SEO Blogs).

It seems this was in their Editorial Guidelines and the link had to be removed. The strange thing is, the guidelines say nothing about spinners. They mention not talking about PLR as being a good thing - and even that was as part of the body of the article - but there was nothing about spinners.

Has anyone else had problems with spinner links?

Hello and welcome
Yes indeedy, eZine does do that.  Many of us have had the same result, we merely add the link to one of the other article directories and use eZine for other "generic" links -- less than 4 word anchor text links, by the way.

Yes, I have. So after going the rounds with them I don't submit articles with spinner links in them to EzineArticles. They are set on this policy.

It's just the way it is.  ::)

Thanks for the replies.

It's good to know it's not just me that they're doing it to. I switched the URL/Text line with a more generic one - which I was able to loosely connect with the article (just incase) – and it went through without a hitch.

Has anyone had problems with isnatch.com, because they don’t seem to allow html in the bio section. Just wondered if everyone was giving them a miss?
