Transferring blog to Wordpress

Blogger has deleted a blog we were working on.
I can access the posts via Google Reader.
Is there an easy-ish way to get all these posts onto a Wordpress blog instead?

If you can take an RSS feed from Google Reader then probably that would work - use a plugin like Feed WordPress to grab the feed and post it into your chosen category with the chosen author. Chances are though if you are looking only at 10 or less posts that copy/paste will actually be easier and quicker.

Unfortunately it is more like a hundred or so posts :-(
The nearest I have come is to go into Google Reader settings, click Send To, then create custom link http://yourblog.com/wp-admin/press-this.php?u=${url}&t=${title}&s=${source}, and then under each post is a Send To button with my Wordpress site. Good idea but when I click the button, a pop up screen from Wordpress comes up, but no New Post box :-(
I think it must be because the feed is not live as the blog has been deleted.

I was thinking that the blog being deleted would be a problem at some point.

Are all the posts from your Blogger blog visible in Google Reader? If so how long will they be cached?

I bet you won't ever have a site that you care about where you don't control the hosting ever again.

I can see all of the posts in Reader. I can also star them and get a xml page up, so maybe I can do something with that, even if it is just to cut and paste the relevant bits.

If there's an urgent immediate rush, why not use the "Print screen" feature on your keyboard at least to get a picture of them, in case they disappear into the ether for good? It doesn't make it easier to transcribe them, but at least you will know what they said.

Good idea! Not sure how much of a rush there is - just wanted to save myself some work if I could!

Or maybe using one of the free translation programs! But on looking back through previous posts, I see it is a spun version of your earlier comment as is one from the same person in a different one of these forums (fora!)
