Are articles being done in order of receipt?

I personally do not believe they are. If I were to guess, I'd say that articles are selected at the whim of the writer.  I have 5 articles waiting and they have been in the que for 3 days+.

It seems to me that if articles are chosen by preference by writers, I'd say that its not really a "write on any topic" service. That needs to be stated in the terms somewhere. Maybe I missed it. Even if it is a "write on any subject service", but the writers don't like the topic, or don't have to write about it, then this could become an issue. I mean, think about it. Some articles are definitely going to require less thought than others. So, if you can write an extra 2 articles because of the simplicity of the topic, why would you choose to write about a more difficult one?

There could be trouble brewing because of that. In fact, I have several other articles that I have decided not to submit, and have gone to another service because I dont know what the policy is on this issue. If submissions have to wait on the writer, no telling how long it could take. Maybe never.

I think there needs to be a way to allow the deleting of article requests for this reason, amongst others. It might be wise to allow a refund too. If you have made a reasonably substantial investment but your needs arent being met, then its only fair to give the money back.

Thanks for bringing this up, Meg - I was wondering how to address it.  ;)

That was an issue in the original batch from the first day or two, but I've added in some code to correct the issue once th the current queue is cleared.

I have had this concern myself since the test keyword I submitted for an article will take research to write.  Not a lot of research but it is not something you can write off the top of your head. It will also test the writing ability of the writer who writes the article. It is now in the third day of submission so I have been wondering if the writers are allowed to pick and chose.

It does not seem fair to the writers if they can not pick and chose.  However if they can pick and chose it probably means I won't be able to use the service much. I would be using this service to replace iwriter.  I use iwriter to write articles that I use for filler posts on blogs with niches that are not covered by articlebuilder.net.

It takes me one-two days to get articles written on iwriter, using their premium writers.  Basic writers usually take less than 24 hours but requires editing and rewriting before you can use the articles.  iwriter also provides a lightly spun article along with the original article which adds something to the value of the service they offer.

So far this service has not met the speed of delivery of iwriter but some delay is too be expected since there is probably a surge due to launch plus Jon doesn't have as many writers as iwriters at this point.

By the way, this is not intended to be critical of this service.  I understand the niche this service is aiming to fill and understand it is not intended to replace the service of quality writers.

In my mind it is to take the place of iwriter by providing better writing than is offered by iwriter by their basic writers.  So I will be evaluating how well this service matches up against the service provided by iwriter and not the service provided by the quality writers available from this forum such as HoneyJo.

As I said in my earlier post, the system has been adjusted to make sure this isn't an issue going forward. I've also communicated to the writers the importance of getting the older requests done first. Many have responded and are making that a priority.

So this should be a temporary issue that will soon be resolved. Just growing pains of the new service that we're learning from.

Thanks for sticking with me as we grow.

Oh, and just FYI, I had no idea we'd get 1,200 orders in the first 48 hours. :)

I'll be adding more writers if this isn't just a temporary surge.

I submitted a request for one article on day one.  Does this now mean that that request is lost somewhere?

C'mon - Didnt he answer the question already?

Although I had concerns, he said its fixed. One thing I have learned about JL over the last few years is that when he says its fixed, you can bet its a done deal.
