Question about something on the dashboard
« on: April 03, 2013, 09:09:43 AM »
On my dashboard in the lower left hand corner there is a pink box and next to it is stated:  indicates a cancelled batch

Does that have anything to do with my article?

I only requested one 800 word article on one keyword that is pretty simple to write an article about but which I've chosen to use just to check out the speed and quality of the articles.

If you cancel a batch it will show up in pink. If it's not in pink, it's not canceled.

Things are getting caught up after I made a few changes, but I *really* didn't expect 1,200 orders in the first 48 hours!

My apologies for the delay. It will get done and things are likely to simmer down so it's a lot faster turn-around. But if load stays high I can have a lot of new writers on board very quickly.

Cant understand this - does this mean ineedarticles canceled, or we, the members? If it means us, I dont see where we cancel...

You the member. You can't cancel once it's already been entered into the assignment pool. If it hasn't, then it will have a red X icon next to the batch.

The change I made caused the articles to go into the assignment pool only when there were less than a certain number of articles assigned. That way your batch is "cancel-able" for a longer period of time (until the current "launch queue" gets cleared out). That's why you can't cancel what you put in on day one/two, even if it hasn't been done yet. But going forward it will be much easier to cancel a mistake or whatever.

I see.

Well - its a little counter-intuitive. It might be a little "cleaner" if there was some way to know that it was assigned. That would also let people know that there is someone actually working on the article.  As it stands now, It leads you to believe that its just sitting there. There is no real visual feedback as to whether its assigned or not. I guess its just a touchy feely kind of thing which to me would round out the dashboard feedback a little nicer.

Received the first article, and the quality is very good - I disagree with the research somewhat - but the quality is very good. I have several still in the que, and I will be adding more.

Thumbs way Up on this project.

Thanks! And thanks for the feedback too. I'm looking for ways to improve the product for everyone.
