Review of Service
« on: April 01, 2013, 11:59:40 AM »
I ordered three 700 word articles yesterday and found my first one completed in my dashboard today. To be honest, I was not expecting too much, as the price for the article was so low. To my pleasant surprise, the article was actually extremely well written and much more thorough than I anticipated. I am extremely happy. I think the only thing that I changed in the article was the writer wrote the words "for instance" twice in one sentence. Other than that simple fix, it was really well written. Thanks Jon!

I ordered ten articles and now have had 7 delivered in about 15 hours. I want to say thanks to whoever wrote this one:

learning how to draw a rose for my wife

I wanted to learn how to draw a rose so that I could use the symbol of the rose in the letters that I write to my wife. I spend a lot of time on the road for work and I get more pleasure out of sitting at the desk with a pencil and paper and writing my wife than I do sending her an email. The flower that we share as being our flower is the rose. I thought that if I could learn how to draw a rose that it would make things even more special for her when she got my letters every couple of days.

This was the kind of writing I hoped to get but had no expection of getting. It was a touching vignette. Can this person write all my articles please. ;)

Jon, if you see this if there's a way to say thanks to the writer I'd be grateful if you'd pass on my regards.

On the topic, any chance of a box we can tick to praise really good work?

Or based on these two reviews a box that says please use the same writer on my articles.  :)

I just got back the first of three requested articles, and it was on a fairly obscure topic.  My expectations were pretty low in all honesty, but I was willing to spend $10 to test the service.  This article far exceeded my expectation, and although I'm very familiar with the topic, I'm pleased to say that the writer included information that was new to me.  I was very impressed and will definitely be back for more articles!

I have ordered several articles and only one completed so far because of number waiting to be written ( no problems there).  I was very happy with the result and if this standard continues I will be using this service often.  Thank you to writer, however you are.

The turn-around is a bit slow right now because of the "launch flood" of articles that are pouring in, but it will level out over time. If the service remains very popular (or grows even more popular) I'll bring more writers on board to ensure a fast turn around.

Do the writers get to chose the articles they wish to write or do they just accept the next one in queue?

They can pick and choose, but only a few of them do that. Most of them just go one after the other after the other. I've modified the system to prevent all of the requests from going in at once. As of a few hours ago it's waiting until the current requests are done before putting in more, then it will drip-feed in new requests as they are available. That way the oldest requests are ensured to be worked on first.

But for now it's just a matter of waiting until the queue clears. My writers have done almost 200 articles already, so it shouldn't be more than a couple of days. I plan on greatly improving the speed, though.

Quality is more important than speed.  I don't mind waiting a few days to ensure quality of articles.

I believe I read that if you order several articles for one keyword then different writers will work on the order.  Is this correct?  Or can a writer see a request for five articles on one keyword and accept all five writing requests?

Will you ever implement a system such as the one at iwriter where you can select the writer that handles your orders?

It's likely that not all of them will be written by the same writer. One writer might do more than one of them, just depending on how things fall, but for the most part you can expect a different writer for the articles.

Probably not. The system I use isn't setup like that, and doing that would put a lot of extra weight on individual writers rather than spreading it out. It's that spread and the resulting speed that makes the low cost possible.

Jon - is there a chance that this service could be extended to rewrites. For example, it would be awesome to put an order in for an article and have it rewritten twice and then sent back to us, and we simply pay the price of 3 articles. They don't need be in spintax or anything that creates additional time. Just an original article with rewrites...

Anything's possible. :) But my writers tell me that it takes longer to rewrite somebody else's work than to create a new article from scratch, so I'm not sure if it would fly.

Jon, how about rewriting from a source? I mean, your writers do write articles using certain references online/offline right?

I have some e-books I created with friends and would like every parts of the book to be written into articles piece by piece, like:
1. general explanatory articles written from introduction, plot, etc
2. informational articles written from content of ebook (e.g. specific keywords of a niche)

The difference is, I already have the ebooks for them to start with, so it's more like have the 'ebook' re-written into articles and put on websites, mashing contents from several of these ebooks into usable articles. Is it possible?
