I am one who previously suggested training by short videos. I was talking about creating custom templates. I didn't see a reply from Jon.

I agree that basic training by short videos would make a ton of sense. And I think it would be pretty quick and easy to do for us customers.

I am getting pretty frustrated!! I keep trying to write an article and I keep losing my work, there has to be a video that shows you how to use it. I am not an idiot but I am having a hell of a time trying to complete one stupid article.

Thank you for the link to the video! I think the problem is I must be an idiot because I have tried rewriting an article I grab from "How To" thinking it would be easy because they are written in step but unless I write everything myself they just sound ridiculous.

I hate to be such a downer, I just had such high hopes for this and I really cannot see how to use it without wasting 30 or more minutes.

If anyone has any advise that could help me to use this properly I would appreciate it.

We all have our own way of writing things; the problem is, we very often just can't get started. Someone once called it, "the tyranny of the blank piece of paper". If you want to write an article telling people "how to" do something, sometimes it's very difficult to get started. Instant Article Factory helps you overcome that tyranny of the blank sheet of paper, or the blank screen of the word processor and actually get some words down.

The templates help you structure an article and include many of the necessary points, both for and against, or ensure you get steps done in a logical order.

Once the article is completed in IAF, you can then put it into a word processor and change it to your heart's content. You can write it in your own words, in your "own voice" as they say but it's SO MUCH EASIER to edit an article than it is to create it from scratch. I have done a lot of business writing in my time and I always found it easier to edit someone else's work than to have to write the item myself! 

Well just to let you all know I too found it a bit difficult to create templates. Then I took a new approach and have created 6 templates with ease. This will allow me to write articles at lighting speed. Plus if you use the templates provided within the IAF you are going to get unique articles. The real reason I created my own templates was so that I speak in my own voice and it makes a ot more sense for me to write and complete.

That's fantastic. How about posting it on You Tube and posting the url on here?

Ok then I will create a video for everyone so that they understand how to create a template!
It will take me a day I hope you can all wait that long!
