Some Advice
« on: July 29, 2010, 03:28:49 AM »
Guys and Girls out there using IAF need to seriously consider creating their own templates. I just ran a test through Copyscape with the templates in IAF Vs My personal ones I created. Good news is mine were all clean. While the Templates in IAF all had copyscape issues!

Watch my video I created  on how to make your own templates! And you will be smiling as this software is FREAKIN AWESOME creating 10 articles an hour no lies !!!

I just took a look at this.  It is a great resource!  I have started on custom templates a couple of times but put it aside because I needed a little more guidance.  This is it!  Thanks texsa!

[snip: please do not put links to personal sites in the body of your post. You will be able to put these types of links in your sig once you have posted 5 or more times to the forums[ site link]

Ramccluskey, Get use to the 'snip-snip',  ;D most of us have had it at least once or twice.
And welcome to the forum.  All you have to do to use links in post is make 5 post. And
NEVER post links to competitors sites or products.   There is a man on here whose title is
the snipper 'I think his name is Jon'!

Texsa, I may be able to do this the way you show it!  Now if you can convert your
video to a PDF or text file so I can print it out and have it sitting beside me to read
while I work on templates..... ::)

Better yet Texsa, add them to the user templates.  Or PM me YOUR templates (I'll
trade you).  Heard that when you were a kid, I'll bet!

HoneyJo,

You may be in luck. I just noticed a few minutes ago that YouTube has a beta automatic transcriber of the video words. Seriously!

Hi,

I just wanted to add a supplement idea to the great video about creating your own templates.  This idea should help you keep your uniqueness % up, as well as speed up the process of developing more complex templates.

Here is the idea:
  • Start with an existing template that is similar to what you want.  For example, 5 ways to...
  • Write an article using the template
  • Edit and customize every line in the template including the original template text.
  • Once you have the article text just the way you want it, go back to the top and for each of the original template lines of text (that you have now edited to your liking), hit the spin button.  This will give you a bunch of ideas, but most of them won't work 'as is', so you will fix them to read the way you want.  Make sure to have at least 3 spins inside each {} spin block.  Work your way to the bottom, customizing the spin for each template line.
  • Once you have all of your lines customized, click the box to leave spin formatting in and not randomize spin, and click create article
  • Copy the raw text (you'll see your {} spin blocks) and paste it into you text editor
  • Now you basically follow the instruction in the video, but paste your pre-spun text into the template fields.

This method should speed up template creation, and give you plenty of spin text that sounds good in context when you fill in your template with whatever you're writing about.

Hope this helps!  Let me know if this works for you, and especially if you discover any additional shortcuts that make this better.

Daniel
