Each version of your article should be at least 33% unique from the others.  That's my personal figure.  Some say to go for 50% or more.

Thanks well I am hitting 40% to 50% so I am safe plus I put my article through a website that checks duplicate content.
http://www.articlechecker.com/ and it came back all clear. I do know there is copyscape as well but that costs bucks to do.

That website doesn't work.

I tried it with a blog post from my own blog (that is also on ezinearticles and articlebase), and it came back with 0% on Google.

And yes, that post is indexed on Google.

I would be very leery of the validity of the results you get from that site...I don't think it works.

Just a heads up!

Grab a free copy of DupeFree Pro off the 'Net.

I have DupeFree, I like it, but a lot of their features don't work anymore.

I use DF to compare my spins to the original, but I want to use Copyscape (when I get some credits), and compare the results.

If CS agrees with DF I will stick with DF because it is free.

The newest version of DF is in Beta testing.

If it doesn't cost too much I am going to grab a copy of it.
