Can I use Boolean search or advanced operators for Google in IAW?
I don't think so. When you put more than one keyword into the search box, IAW uses quotes around it, which is how Google searches for the exact phrase. That is, if you search for Weight loss plans, the search is made as "weight loss plans", whereas, if you put te search into Google (not into IAW first), you would get returns for weight, for loss and for plans, which would give you lots of results but not necessarily in the area you want. My assumption (I have not tried it) is that putting in weight loss AND plans, would result in a search for "weight loss and plans" which is unlikely to be a phrase in common use. I have just used it by putting in different phrases and leaving it to run, building up a whole lot of information from which I can get lots of articles.
But why not try it and see?
