German: no spellcheck, no spinning, no synonym ... all crashes
« on: December 09, 2011, 06:24:17 AM »
Hello JL and everybody,

to complete my list, of what is not working:
 >:( no spell check, all text is marked wrong (German and Germany already chosen)
 >:( no function for synonyms
 >:( no function for spinning
 >:( Keyword suggestions obviously don't really recon language, because rather only english suggestions if any
 >:( Keyword trends seems to be out of function, otherwise hilarious outcomes only
??? 3 crashes after ordering sentences, means isn't working either and stealing my time

Btw: .net framework 3.50 and updates installed, language pack German

Pls be so cool to tell me you haven't sold to me and that you know, what mistakes you made! Because otherwise I have to return my order. I am really pc literate

I translated the word "diet" into German. It gave me the word "Diät"

I put this into IAW and got the following from one search of Google:

START

END

I do not know any German, so do not know what this says.

I'm sorry you feel my post did not help you. I do not post in order to prove that my system works but in order to try and find out how to help those who post on the forum.

I can see that there is no German spell check and that there are no German synonyms available in IAW. I posted the text into TBS2 and was able to get synonyms in that and a German spellcheck but that is no use to you if you do not have TBS2.

IAW is not meant to SPIN the text. It can REPLACE words in the text, in order to create NEW text. If you want to spin the text, you need to use a spin tool, like TBS2.

"Trends" picks up what people are SEARCHING for online. Presumably it picks the most looked-for items.

I used the  SUGGEST tool using Diat as the keyword and got the following:
"keywords"
"diäten"
"diäten im vergleich"
"diäten im test"
"diäten österreich"
"diäten sind doof"
"beste diäten"
"diätentabelle"
"formula diäten"
"crash diäten"
"diäten der stars"
"diätenplan"
"diätplan"
"diätplan abnehmen"
"atkins diätplan"
"diätplan für kinder"
"almased diätplan"
"diätplan online"
"diätplaner"
"kohlsuppe diät"
"kohlsuppe diät rezept"
"brigitte diät"
"glyx diät"
"atkins diät"
"atkins diätplan"
"atkins diät forum"
"dr atkins diät"
"atkins diät was darf ich essen"
"diätrezepte"
"diät ohne kohlenhydrate"
"max planck diät"
"dukan diät"
"die dukan diät"

In terms of crashes, it is best to save frequently in IAW.

b2bsaleseurope,

I read your reply to Meg, and ‘I totally disagree with what you are saying and the way
that you said it’! In fact, you are the first person whose comments that I have every
read that appeared to misjudge her reason for replying to them!

Although her reply to you may or may not have been a help to you, she did her best
to help you and went to a lot of trouble to do so.

You should be aware of the following things! One of them is that Meg is a big help to
all of Jon's forum members, all of the time!

She is known to be the most helpful of all of Jon's members, one might even say that
other than Jon himself, Meg is the 'Backbone' of JL Forums!!!

I would also like to add that you appear to be the rudest person whose post I have
ever read on the forum and that if Meg cannot help you here, you should consider
posting your 'COMPLAINTS AND PROBLEMS' at http://askjonleger.com/support/

In addition, as to your comment in a previous post 'I am really pc literate', it does not
appear to be a fact, a 'PC Literate' person would never be so rude in a forum and expect
anyone to help them!

Thanks for the vote of confidence Honeyjo.  ;D Much appreciated.  :)

I look on these types of posts in 2 ways:

1. The person was REALLY, REALLY looking forward to using a super new tool, just like opening exciting, wrapped presents on your birthday and finding that instead of the all singing/dancing toy they wanted, they found something else. That is, the new toy wasn't what they expected, it took a bit of work to understand it or it didn't do exactly what they wanted. Disappointment can make us all grumpy - me included!

2. The person is a troll, looking to start a flame war.

Whichever they are, I try to provide something that will get them started on using their new toy and finding ways to get it to do what they wanted. If they are a number 2 - then that type of answer should provide a bucket of cold water to dowse any possible fires!  ;D

I didn't wanted to be rude. I surely was grumpy.
I sometimes interpreted being a little harsh, without me having the intention to.
To call me a troll is rude in my terms.

So lets call it square and start over!

I was and I am still angry about
1. IAW in 2011 being not delivered right to install, it took me hours to go through the net to find things.
2. IAW that is rather unstable and kills your work right in the middle
3. IAW not working as described, i.e. no spell check (no German dic?) and no synonyms (no German tbs funcion)

I don't want to burn anything. In fact in English it is mostly working fine now, apart from the stability. But I expect to have IAW the featured functions!

Therefore, one question remains untouched until now and is to be solved:
How can I use or implement German spell check and tbs functionality (synonyms)?

I am gratefull for every advice helping to solve this problem!

I'm sorry, only Jon can give any further help. I cannot find German synonyms or dictionary in IAW. They are present in TBS2 but you may not have that. It is possible that they were available in IAW when TBS2 was the only version. Possibly they are not now available, now that TBS3 is here (it does not have support for other languages).

Why not ask help desk if they have any further information? http://askjonleger.com/support/ They are available Monday to Friday 1pm to 8pm CST but it's only 5am CST at present.
