« on: January 05, 2018, 10:43:32 PM »
Hello Jon/Amin,

I have attended the webinar day before yesterday and i am really impressed with the product and love to try youtube now ( i am one of the heavy user of SM2).

I have few newbie questions before try.It would be really great to know answers from your..

1/ Do you think each channel per niche is a good idea? Like one channel for weight loss, one channel for natural remedy etc

2/ Is it possible to monetize multiple channel with one adsense account?

3/ Which is more profitable way to monetize? Link adsense with youtube channels? or Drive users to your adsense site?

4/ Is it a good idea to provide my website link in youtube video desc? Is there any chance youtube block my links as like  pinterest. ( if thats the case i may end up editing description on all my videos to replace link)

I want to start youtube marketing..please help me to get answer for these newbie questions.

Many Thanks,
Velrajan T.

1. Splitting up the videos between separate channels is a good idea yes.

2. YouTube lets you monetize each channel separately. Each channel needs at least 10,000 views before YouTube will allow you to monetize the channel.

3. It depends on the market. Some markets you'd do better with sending traffic to your site, other (mostly lower paying) markets will do better with YouTube's AdSense revenue. You'll just have to test it.

4. Yes, you should include the website link in the description. That's very common on YouTube. It is, after all, your channel and your videos.

I'm not sure whether that's what you'd prefer to do, but if you have multiple channels I'm fairly sure you can monetize them within a single Adsense account. I think that's what you were asking us.

You don't need separate Adsense accounts to monetize each and every channel - Google doesn't (officially) allow you to have more than one Adsense account, unless you're running each one as a business and not an individual.
