Inserting videos as backgrounds?
« on: November 07, 2017, 08:55:55 AM »
OK, found it. DOH!
But... it looks to me like it has to be added on a slide by slide basis?

What I'm trying to do is add a 30 sec clip (possibly longer) and have it run smoothly through the various text messages.
Can't see how to do that...

Thanks

Hi,

re: Inserting videos as backgrounds?

Is this possible? Thought it was but maybe that was wishful thinking...

Thanks

You can't. IVW is a slide based system so it doesn't currently support that kind of arrangement. You would need to slice your video into segments and add each segment to a slide.

Jon,

What would be a good slide length (time-wise) to do that?

Thanks

One way to handle it is to create the slides with the text and voice-over etc first, and see how long each one is. Then cut the video up accordingly.
