Update Multiple Text Layouts Possible?
« on: February 14, 2018, 10:21:57 PM »
I saw the pop-up with the new updates today (thanks Jon for that).

But I was only able to watch one video tutorial, before it disappeared. Not sure how to get it back again.

Anyway, I was just wondering if it's possible to update Multiple "Text Layouts" at a time with the new update?

I see an update multiple for text fonts, and such.

But not sure if there's any for "text layouts". Or not.

Thanks.

By the way, I think it would be good to have these multiple options available for selection before rendering the slides from text to video.

I can imagine it would take up a lot less server resources. Whereas right now, it seems we have to render twice.

Once for text to video. And then once more for changing all the fonts. And such.

Yes that's possible. If you want to update Text #1 and Text #2 on all slides to match the current slide, just be sure the current slide has those settings on Text #1 and Text #2 etc. That is, you must select the font on Text #1 AND Text #2 if you want to change the font on Text #1 and Text #2 for other slides.

To prevent rendering the slide(s) prior to using Update Multiple just uncheck the "Auto-Refresh" option at the bottom of one of the slides. That will prevent rendering before the modifications are made.

Oh, sorry.

I meant the "Text Layout".

Like...

... text on the top, image behind, or..

... text on the right, image on the left, or...

... sidebar text, image behind...

... etc.

You can do that too. Just check the "Text Location" box in the list of checkboxes on the Update Multiple dialog.

Thanks Jon. I'll try it out!
