Question on Amazon Review websites and backlink building
« on: January 12, 2012, 11:28:06 AM »
Hi there,
I've recently started building some Amazon review sites (I don't think I'm supposed to which course I'm using).  These are pure amazon review sites

I've been reading about some backlink building about writing an original article and then syndicating it via different method like
1) rewrite article and submit to article directories
2) turn it into a powerpoint and upload to presentation sights
3) turn powerpoint into video and upload to video sites
etc.

Just curious ... what is a good tactic to use here:

1) post original article on the amazon review site and then point all the syndication with a link back to original article on the amazon review site ... if so, what's a "seamless" way to integrate the original articles into the review site?

2) do not post original article on amazon review site (leaving it as an amazon review site) ..use the links instead to point back to main site and maybe a few pages/categories (e.g. http://abcd.com/category/brand-name)

Another question: for the original article, I had assumed you had to write an article in the traditional sense like "Best 5 ways to ...".  But can you syndicate an original product review?  Like if I'm reviewing a brand-name product, can I post syndicate that as an article to article sites or as video to video sites?  Or is it better to use a "traditional" article?

Still learning!  Thanks!

Ugh! Amazon is such a pain to work with. They convert like crazy but you have to sell 10,000,000 products to make any kind of decent money.

Yes but once you have your silent salesman out there he works for very little money and hardly any time!

Robert, the simple way to offset that AMZ tier sales issue is to not only promote larger ticket items but promote many smaller ticket items first.

I.e.  promote some $5 items that sell much faster.

You'll start selling a bunch of smaller ticket items and work your way up the monthly % ladder easily that way.

Then your AMZ revenue will increase as you pass the tiers with the smaller priced items but you'll get those larger commissions for those higher commissioned items too :)
