Tips for E-mail marketing:-
1.You have to huge list of Email Contacts
5. Do not send frequently.
Have you ever actually tested the 2 things you pointed out above?
One of the biggest boosts in my business is email marketing. I disagree with the need to have a a huge list. Someone with a list of just 500-1000 people could make a great living from it if they are sending the right information and promoting the right products.
Why would you not send frequently? What qualifies as frequently? 1 time per day?
Some weeks I send an email everyday, other weeks it's 2-3 times per week. You need frequent contact or your list will forget about you, gt distracted and move on...
Now, here's where most people go wrong. The people that email frequently have a tendency to ABS (always be selling).
If you always sell of course, your list will get tired of that and will unsubscribe. If you promote useless junk that doesn't work (or you have no clue it ill work or not) they will leave.
How do you get around this? When you send an email make sure it does the following....
1. Addresses what your audience needs.
2. Only promote products that help address those needs.
I still love the old standard 80/20 rule. 80% good solid free content that will greatly help your subscriber. 20% recommending.
I use the term recommend over selling because if you're really doing this right you'll know the product you're promoting very well. You'll know if it will really help your members and if it won't, do not promote it.
Too many marketers out that have this rule reversed and promote constantly and provide little to no good helpful information. Some don't care as they get enough buyers to not worry about it. But, if you really want to help your audience and earn a good living by doing it help first, worry about your bank account 2nd, it'll come.
But, message frequency is determined by the list owner and what content that owner is sending.
