Sure I love to interact with others and participate in discussions as well business related as discussions that have nothing to do with business at all.

However my main focus is to build my business by building valuable connections, building a trustworthy on-line presence and expanding my business with powerful tools and services. I hate wasting my time on spammers and scammers.

An other important thing for me is to have training and top level support for the tools and services I am using.

One thing I learned is that I can not have that for free. I started out with zero money so I joined services and networks that are free. Unfortunately these free services all required to receive mails. It took me a lot of time to find useful information and training. And finding connections that send me other messages than requests to join some opportunity.

I do still spend some time on free networks to expand my contacts but I use Kooiii to orchestrate my on-line promotions. All services I need are accessible form Kooiii, email marketing, PPC advertising, a powerful search engine, quality RSS feeds for my blogs.

I save a lot of time by sharing my publications with the social DNA tool. I do not even have to leave Kooiii to monitor what happening on other networks like Facebook.

Training and support is excellent on all services. I am not swamped wit rubbish; Kooiii is spam and scam free. When I need quality information or training in a certain field I can find it immediatly on Kooiii. I also found many regular members very helpfull in pointing out resources.

Am I having fun at Kooiii? Yes, but mainly because I am getting results.

If you prefer results over fun you should check out [snip: no links in posts please].

This is a very good question...i believe if i were to focus on having fun helping people
then there is no pressure and as someone said...the money or results will find you.
You don't have to beat your head on the keyboard because you have made your
day when you meet someone new and be of some value to them

My goal would be to interact with like-minded people, learn from them,  and eventually get results from my business.

I've never been much of a forum, or online network user.  The reason is, I like to interact directly with my customers and clients, and this doesn't actually happen in any forum.

Fortunately, the JL forum seems not to be so much full of people ready to slam other people.  This is good!... because many other so-called top forums, are full of self-declared experts who put down what anyone else says, and fill the forums full of urban legends (disguised as reality).

So I tend to focus my time on webinars, and client coaching, and not on online networks so much.

This being said, I still use social networks to interact, though not as well as others.  Business networks like Linkedin, for example, tend to be more responsive to new ideas about business, versus just having fun.

So if I were to go all out on business networks, the focus would be to provide useful information, interact in a easy, but professional tone, and not simply just be there to have fun.

Have a great 2012

I am spending my time on networking sites to meet people but most of all to learn to grow my business.

It would be nice to have some fun also.
