Discount Offered Again
« on: October 08, 2014, 02:16:08 PM »
I just got an e-mail again from Jon to get a discount on KS. I already have it and like it.

The only reason I don't use it much is because I use RankCrew to get backlinks and don't want to spend my RankCrew money on keywords that don't get many monthly searches.

I've asked this before, but is there any way to update KS to get the amount of monthly searches for keywords extracted using this tool?

And the answer is the same: not for $37.

If you want to use another tool to find high volume keywords to target, great.

One of the strengths of KS are the many low volume phrases that no one bothers with. It can give you ideas to pursue that you haven't considered. You don't need to provide backlinks for all the keywords KS finds. In many cases you can get traffic from those phrases simply by using them in your content. The numbers may be small, but a lot of small numbers add up to big numbers.

Thanks for that. So if I included those keywords in say a blog post,  could rank for some without backlinking? I actually have a plugin on my blogs that optimizes the post content for a keyword phase. Been using it for a long time with keyword planner keywords. I should start using the keywords from KS from now on, correct?

Thanks for that e-mail Jon "Rank in Google without links" VERY INFORMATIVE!

Just what I was looking for!

Can you tell me if any of the keyword phrases returned in KS show up in Keyword Planner also? I hope not, as I just want to use the keyword phrases that are not found in Keyword Planner.

There is overlap yes, but the long tails with many keywords are far less likely to show up in queries for more broad terms in the KP.
