« on: July 25, 2013, 01:38:19 AM »
Hello,

first of all thanks for any answer!

I wonder how I can determin the most interesting keywords after pulling them ot with keyword snatcher.
Is there a qualifitool integrated or are all collected keywords good ones to use?

If not, which tool or software do you suggest to find out the gold nuggets of existing keyword lists?

Kind Regards

Mike

Mike,

Sometimes I take the keyword list from KWS and run it through another keyword research tool, to get the stats/search volumes/ etc etc... and then pick the keywords to use from that...  but I also use those keyword phrases from KWS in titles, descriptions, metas, etc without even looking up search volumes, because imho, the keywords returned from KWS are all good...

HTH :)

I can see how if Google are giving these keywords back to us then theoretically people must be searching for the terms that KWS gives back but some keywords are better than others. If you now have a list of 4,000+ keywords instead of a list of maybe 600-800, there will still be a percentage that are just too hard to rank for therefore not worth taking time over and some with only 100 per year, which in my opinion is not worth taking time over until the site is fully mature.

Lots of people on here seem to not care about the search volume for their keywords all of a sudden. I want a simple straightforward read out of the prospective search volume per keyword - otherwise I will probably spend lots of time optimising for keywords that are either pointlessly hard to get seen on the SERPS or pointless because next to no one is searching for that term. Go to the end of Jon's KWS video to see a lost of those keywords that maybe 10 people will hit on per year. Why would I want to spend any time with those keywords?

I want a tool where I can put the 40,000 keywords in and quickly see what kind of traffic each keyword will deliver. In that way I can pick out maybe 100 optimal keywords to target.

Any thoughts, or maybe you people have a valid argument why this is not something I should be concerned with?
