I'm not getting any results back for google or ask and was wondering if it's just me or whether its worldwide

I've tried for a couple of days before posting this in case I'd been google slapped.

I would appreciate some feedback from anyone

Same here. Just tried it now. Got results from Yahoo, Bing and Amazon but nothing from Google or Ask. Maybe the same problem that is stopping "Answer Analyst" too?

I'm also getting Yahoo, Bing and Amazon

Just thought I'd check the forum and yep - same problem here, I'm only getting Yahoo and Amazon, no Bing, no Ask and no Google.

It looks like Google modified their page layout again. I'll get this fixed up in a couple of days after I'm back in town.

Great, thanks. Just tried it out there. Don't know if you did something to the speed as well, but it absolutely whizzed through the search!

I've just tried it and google works fine but still no results from ask.

I'm not that bothered about ask but I just though I'd put it in here.

I've tried it with a few different keywords and it's the same thing.

What's more worrying for me is that a lot of the time I can't get through a search now without getting the unhandled exception pop up part way through the search

I used to get it occasionally but now it's nearly every search I've tried even running under administrator.

No results from "Ask" here either. But, I am glad to say, no "unhandled exceptions" here. I wonder why the difference? I just used my usual search term of "stainless steel". Do you get an unhandled exception when using that? I wonder if it is the search terms, the web sites, or maybe the speed of searching? I have the speed set half way between slower and faster and I turned off "deep research".

My speed is halfway between. I think that is the default setting.

I'm just going to use Google, Yahoo and Bing for this test and not do any browsing or anything else to my pc while it's running.

Just ran as admin for 'stainless steel' without deep research and it worked fine with 617 keywords returned
Just ran as admin for 'stainless steel' with deep research checked and it worked fine with 7642 keywords returned.

Repeated this and opened Excel as soon as I started the KWS running but (glad to say) didn't get unhandled exception, however, I did not have an excel file open, just the program. By the time I had found a csv file to try and open, KWS had finished running. Did you have a particular TYPE of Excel file open?
