You can now include spin syntax in your submitted link descriptions to provide automatic variation.

Hi,

I can not see if the spun description feature is working properly.  I have placed the spun text into my description under saved links.  But when viewing all my links, the spun versions do not show, only the raw spun text with the delimiters and pipe bars, which is also cut off due to the character limit.  When I go back to modify the same link, the spun description is cut off and missing so I believe that the feature is not working properly.

Also, as I am used to seeing the spun versions appear with each refresh of the page (such as in 1 way links when viewing all the blog posts and the spun titles keep changing each time the page is viewed).

So it would be nice if when viewing the saved links page in mywaylinks, that all of the correctly spun descriptions display each spun version for each corresponding link, as opposed to displaying semi-cut off raw spun text with pipe bars etc. etc.

Can anyone else comment on this new feature?  Or am I the only one having problems with this.

Thanks,

Tops

Yup.  Definitely not working. I have just visited one of my approved links that had the spun description in the saved link.

There is only 1 word in the description for that listed link!!  I shall log a support ticket for the issue.

Thanks for pointing that out.  The issue is that I needed to increase the max field size for the link text and description in the database.  That's been done now, and should support fields up to 128k+ -- so no worries now. :)
