so I leave it on U.S not NZ? and when the product come out it will be 100% accurate for me as you have proxies installed?

If you want to know the ranking  in the U.S. then yes, set it to U.S. No, we do not have proxies installed. The user has complete control over that.

I tried 2 Youtube URLs and 1 PRWeb URL with all of them ranking in the top 20 for the keywords I used but Accurank Tracker produced N/A for these keywords???

What are the URL's? If you don't want them public you can email them to me at [email protected] and I'll take a look. We've done quite a bit of testing with YouTube URL's and haven't had any issues. Also, where are you located, what country do you have the keywords set to, are you using a proxy and is it Google, Bing or both that are showing N/A?

Hey

I just wanted to give some feedback for the software. I like it a lot, the fact that it's simple and that the results are dead on is great.

However, the way keywords are added to a site is quite clunky. If you have 5-6 sites, each with 20 or 30 keywords (or even more in a few cases) it becomes quite a chore to list them all. It would be easier if when you are in the "Site urls" dialog you doubleclick a site name and you get a list of its keywords, with editing options of course.

Thank you!
Florin

Bug Report

When I click on the - symbol to minimize the application, the software symbol disappears fron the task bar at the bottom of the screen.  I have to bring up task manager and double click on the application name to bring the application back on screen.

Or I can click on the show hidden icons symbol and then click on the application symbol to bring it back.

This is something we'll be adding in the future. In the meantime, we have a statistic import option that speeds up the process quite a bit. Thanks for the feedback.

We will likely let people know of good sources for proxies, yes. And we already have videos (as mentioned in the initial post.) Please see these videos http://www.accuranktracker.com/training.html And in case you don't understand the proxy implementation, AccurankTracker is a desktop app, meaning it runs on the user's system. If we converted this software to a web app in order to supply the proxies, we would be forced to charge a monthly fee (like most other rank trackers do.) We do it this way to save you money. And most users won't even need proxies (remember, they're optional) but even if you do, it will cost you MUCH less money doing it this way and you'll know for a fact that the rankings are 100% accurate.

Thanks for the feedback, but that's not a bug. :) It's designed to be a "set and forget" app. If you look, it is still in the system tray. Although I haven't checked that on all operating systems, so I suppose it could be. What operating system are you using?

As I live in new Zealand would you recommend I use a proxy with your product (when it's available) or would I get accurate enough results for my keywords in the U.S market without using a proxy?

I am currently using Market Samurai's 'Rank Tracker' is this a good product to track my keywords?

Much appreciated
Mark

Bugs?

I don't know if there are some steps that I missed, but I here's what I did:
1. I added 2 keywords.
2. I added 1 site URL
3. I added Statistics so the both keywords appear on the table.
4. Then I click "Check" button.
5. I waited until both keywords check finished.

The result were:
1. The result of keyword 1 is nothing (Google: N/A, Change +0, Bing: N/A,Country : US)
2. The result of keyword 2 is this (Google: N/A, Change +0, Bing: 6,Country : US)

The Bing result for the second kw is accurate (position 6), but Google isn't (for both keywords).
My first keyword/site placed on 2nd page on Google
My second keyword/site placed on 3nd page on Google

If the ART returns top 100, then both of my keywords should get some results from Google, right?

If you're in New Zealand and you want 100% accurate results, then yes, I recommend getting a US proxy and assigning it to the US in AccurankTracker. That will get you 100% accurate rankings. I've never used Market Samurai's rank tracker because I've always heard people complain about it. That's my honest input even though I may be biased.

What country are you in and what country did you assign the keywords to? Most likely the reason why you're seeing something different in your browser is because google and bing both tailer results based on search history, cache etc. If you want accurate rankings in a browser you need to completely clear your history and cache and also ensure you're not logged into google. AccurankTracker bypasses your browsers and shows you the true rank.

I've tried to install Accurank Tracker, but even with disabled antivirus it's failing to launch. I get the error details in a .log file.
What should I do?
