Consolidation
« on: October 31, 2011, 09:00:46 PM »
I think what you need to do is consolidate your efforts a bit more. You have a lot of redundant projects: instant article wizard, article factory, article builder, etc. They should be condensed into one project.

You should be focusing all your efforts on creating software that will pass the Turing Test, taking material from around the web, spinning it into 99% unique content and having it read as if written by a professional writer, without any human intervention. I think this is possible and not too far off.

Then we can all retire happily, until the value of rehashed information is reduced below the cost of creating it.

Webmind,

I do not consider ANY of Jon's products redundant! I too would like Jon to combine
a couple of these programs, but I realize that if it were possible he would, or maybe
in the future if he ever has time he will do it!!

What I would really like to see is some praise for all of Jon's work coming from you
and a couple of other people on the forum.

Many of Jon's programs he does not make a dime from, some he develops to put
people to work. A lot of the money that he does earn is donated to worthy charities.
If you read all of his post or if you receive his emails you would know this. I am not
being mean here, this is just as Eliot says 'My Thoughts'!

He puts a lot of effort and BRAINS into creating programs, and it definitely is not up
to us to tell him, what he should or should not be focusing on....

If you or I had the brainpower to do what you are, telling him you would like to see
him do it would already be done. But, as WE are the users/purchasers of Jon's
products and are incapable of doing the creating, we have a choice as to whether
or not we buy ANY/EACH product
Jon develops when it comes out!

Sorry, but all of my products accomplish different tasks and are aimed at a variety of markets.  Not everyone is interested in spinning their content.  Not everyone is interested in having a tool help write their content (all they want to do is spin). Not everyone wants to write from a template (some prefer instantly generated content), others would rather use a template to create their own articles in their own words.

One gigantic tool that does ALL of that would be far too expensive for most of my customers, when all they want is X or Y or Z.
