To make money online you need to know these two things:
1. What are people seeking?
2. How can you help people get what they want?
If you can get insight into these two questions you can make money money online with proper positioning. Here's what I'm talking about..
I've been working with software called CrowdForce. CrowdForce let's you scan the Internet for conversations. The conversations you scan for can be centered around anything you want to create an opportunity in. Once you've found these conversations (#1 above.. what are people seeking?) you then move to finding the information, service, etc., to help them obtain that which they are seeking (#2 above).
As it stands now, I use CrowdForce to find these conversations of what people want and then I use it to help people find what they are looking for. I do this by scanning any subject from two different angles.
This is not meant as a promotion for CrowdForce (I'm not an affiliate!). But rather to explain my thoughts on the following idea for Jon:
I'd like to see a product that can do everything CrowdForce can do AND go a step further:
Once a scan for what people are seeking is finished how about if the software automatically recommended articles and other resources to fulfill those desires. In other words, a double-scan of sorts to fulfill both #1 and #2 stated above.
Along with CrowdForce I use Instant Article Wizard. So I can find the conversations (and the products, services, etc) with CF and use IAW to flesh out what I've found as well as to possibly find more solutions for people in group #1. In-between group #1 and group #2 I use another program called Trust Jacker (software I bought on Jon's recommendation and a good one it was!). TJ let's me interject a message whenever anyone clicks on a link to fulfill #2 above.. to fulfill a desire.
So here is how it works (there's much more to the way I actually do this but this is a peek):
Let's say you discover a conversation around what makes for the best pizza sauce. AND, you've found a great article on making the perfect pizza sauce. You drop in on that conversation and say, "hey I've found this great article on making the perfect pizza sauce check it out here." and you offer a link. How could these people resist? So they click on your link which goes through Trust Jacker on it's way to the article you've found. They read the great article on making the perfect pizza sauce but either before, or when, they click out of the page up pops your sales message covering a book on ClickBank on.. making the perfect pizza sauce.
This idea could be made to incorporate all of Jon's current article writing customers. I won't go into details on this aspect of it. I'm just throwing it out there to say that too is possible.
