How much would you pay for a 250-350 word article?
« on: September 22, 2011, 06:49:44 PM »
Okay guys, here's my question to you:

If you could join a service where you could submit a set of keywords and get back a 250-350 word article GUARANTEED to pass Copyscape that was of very high quality, and you would get your article back within a couple of hours -- how much would you be willing to pay per article?

I'm very interested in your responses.  Please ask any questions you need to in a reply to this thread.

Jon

I'm guessing this content would be derived from that job you offered on the forum a few months back?

No.  This would not be spun content, and it would cover 90-95% of the keywords people would want content around.

Jonathan, as I'm sure you're aware, there are copy writing services that will deliver quality hand written articles over with over 400 words of content for less then $10.00 per article. So, I will vote based on the assumption the articles will be at least 300 words or more. Less then that would be not be worth the money to me. Thank you for all your innovation!

Thanks for the survey. As you said, the important things are:

1. high-quality articles
2. pass copyscape

Actually, I use IAW 3 and can piece together a good article and quickly spin it using everyones favorites and it's around 50% unique and reads pretty good. Takes me around 15-20 minutes.

Would really prefer articles of 500 words and above instead.  :)

That's great (and what IAW3 was designed for), but I know there are a lot of people who are set-it-and-forget-it kinda people who would love to just drop a set of keywords in a box and click SUBMIT to get an article back in a couple of hours.

I have been noticing just doing a ok spin of the content isnt good enough... The content has to have a very high unique value and be structured very well with the keyword logic in order to have any "real" decent value.... in addtion to being 750 words +.... I would be happy to trial this service with a couple keywords and see what comes of it...

Cheers.

This is hard to answer, as I'm not sure what level of quality it is, and what it's used for. Add to our money sites or for backlink submission. The quality level is different for me under those two circumstances. I rarely use 350 word articles on my blogs and would only consider it for submission to get backlinks. Backlink articles only requirement is keyword, makes sense, and pass copyscape in some cases.

Money site articles are usually more well written and I pay more for those.

So which of these two levels of quality would it be?

The quality would be good enough to post on your money sites, but the articles would max out at around 350 words.

In response to what someone else already said, there is also a fairly new service that even does 700 word articles for less than $10, in 2hrs, passes copyscape and actually good quality. Based on that, a 250-350 word article would have to be priced fairly low, but again it all goes back to the quality. Heck, I can write an article that will pass copyscape but nobody would want to read it, lol.

Lots of services out there doing this stuff. But I'm sure this would be near the top of the ladder.
I had been pretty happy with the company I was using, but I recently noticed one of my articles
they supplied was nearly word for word from a site I had been checking for keywords. Made a
complaint and got nowhere. ??? Mind you they say these are uniquely written articles. So a new
service might be just the thing.

Mike.

Correct - when one has hundred+ sites, 15-20 minutes is an eternity :)

For original articles, I would prefer minimum 500 words and optimally 700-750 words. If the article is a review article, 250-300 words may be acceptable. The longer the article, the more time a visitor will spend on your website. Google looks at this factor to determine the quality of your site and give you a higher ranking, so having those longer articles is beneficial.
