Plugin Fix

How many times have you bought a plugin that was really useful, but it broke and the developer went AWOL?

OK, there is probably some legal issue lurking with abandonware - maybe we don't know why the programmer took off...

But a service that will fix your WordPress plugin is sort of narrow enough to suit at least some programmers.

Are you talking of wordpress plugins in special or about software in general. Besides the WP plugins that come with encrypted code it should not be a big problem to find a competent programmer to fix any plugins that were working with former versions of WP and stopped working now...

I have had broken plugins 'fixed' using freelance coders. More usually though I used to get completely new ones written incorporating exactly the functionality I wanted.
In the end though, and this is much more the case than it was a few years ago when I was working in this way, there are so many plugins that it'd be hard to not be able to find a functioning replacement in a matter of minutes. Almost every niche has more than one supplier these days.
