WP Plugin for ArticleBuilder
« on: April 20, 2013, 07:44:03 AM »
I've been using ArticleBuilder on hundreds of WordPress blogs. It's a great tool. I'd like to see a plugin that would give my readers options to pull articles from any category in AB.

Hi Tradeview, I agree that would be an awesome feature. Also, one that is probably not going to happen.

Sounds like a whole new program to me, one that would be verrrrrry expensive~  ;)

Hi

I am not sure whether I understood the concept right: Would that be like a reselling service where your readers could have a category drop down and and then choose a category and download an article?
Or should it be more like a "vote for the topic of my next article" approach. You have a form that shows a poll for the category and every day the winning category is taken as the category for the article for the next day?

I don't think a plugin for that would bee too complicated, if someone is willing to save the login data to articlebuilder in the plugin settings. you could then give commands to article builder what kind of article should be posted next. I am just not sure how the process of choosing articles should look like...

I had the same question about what he was suggesting.  I notice he did not answer you.  :)

However I doubt he is going to be very enthusiastic about an idea that will allow others to resell his products as their products.  :)

That would be left up to however Jon wanted it. In fact, all of the details would be left to him. He's not asking for a parts list, or a 3-D business model, computer code, analytic report, beta test results, study, outline.. none of that is important until he MAKES it important. That's all backend thinking. I'm just making a suggestion.   ;)

It's perfectly acceptable for somebody to have a wordpress plugin coded that uses the api to accomplish what you are asking. I'm not sure it's something I want to do, but it's certainly doable.

So it would be acceptable to resell the articles on ArticleBuilder.net using a plug-in such as this.  I might look in having this plug in created myself if that is the case.

Is there a price per article that would acceptable or unacceptable to you?  For example if I created a web site that used this plug in and resold the articles for $1.00 per article would that be acceptable?  I would not wish to do this if it is something you would not like but I suspect there might be a market for selling these articles at such a price range.

It wouldn't be necessary to state the source of the articles, just offering this quality of tip article in such a wide variety of subjects for a low price could make a very profitable web site.

Thanks for your reply Jon. I never try to second guess what will interest you or what will not. I just throw out ideas that occur to me as I engage in my own businesses.   :D
