Hello Everyone,

If a niche has a back link of almost 200,000 (and site links of almost the same number) but with non of those back links containing the the exact 'keywords', is that a good niche to go into?

Will i quickly rank for it if i go into it? Please i need answer to this quickly.

Sounds like tough sledding to me...

What about the top 10? How many have less than 250 backlinks?  Rule of thumb; if there are not at least 3 sites with less than 250 backlinks showing, then forget it. It's dominated by the big guys. (If three others with less than 250 links got on the first page, then you should be at least able to replace one of them...)

I have checked and what i found out is interesting. Non of the top 10 websites is optimized for the said keyword. I mean non of the websites is having the keyword as their anchor texts.

I believe if i get lots of back links containing my keyword as my anchor texts i will out rank all of them.
