WebComp Analyst vs. Niche Horde
« on: May 10, 2010, 02:21:05 AM »
I am already a WebComp Analyst user, find niche horde just now. It seems  Niche Horde is much better than WebComp Analyst. Maybe Niche Horde can take the place of WebComp Analyst. Am I right?

Niche Horde does not do the extensive analysis that webcompa does.  They work together very well, you take your niche horde findings and then use webcompa to confirm your findings.

Do you mean that WebcompA can check out the top 10 ranking sites in Google?

Hi,

Maybe I am wrong but it seems that Niche Horde
has done all the hard work that you would need
to do in WebComp Analyst to find a niche.

And that is why it costs more.

Yes. Actually you can check up to the top 100.  Also, once you have that data, you can click on any of the sites, and do a deep link analysis.  This will tell you what the anchor texts are that are being used on the site.  With this info, you can determine if a site is shooting for the exact same keyword, or if they just happen to be listed because of related keywords. Many sites are only in the top of google because they have a lot of backlinks, but quite often, none of those links actually contain the keyword as anchor text.  Jons video on webcompa really explains it best.
