A few questions before trying the water :)
« on: May 31, 2013, 12:31:56 AM »
Hi,

Intrigued as I am there are a few questions.

Do you (help) choose the domain name?
You register it but do I own it and will it be transferred to my own registrar at some point?
If I choose your hosting can I move the site at the end of the year if I choose to?

Thnx in advace for the answers.

I have purchased two sites from Niche Jet and can answer the first two of your three questions.

Niche Jet chooses the domain name, or (new) they will use a domain name that you already own. I was very happy with the domains they chose for me, they were very relevantly named.

You own the domain in either case. If they register the domain, then you need to request them to transfer it to you any time after 60 days and up to a year after registration. You have to request an authorisation code to initiate the transfer to you at your registrar.

I chose to use my own hosting. The site is initially built on their hosting, then when it's ready (in my case the day after ordering) you have 30 days to move it to your new host. You have full cPanel and FTP access. You need to ensure that you maintain the same WordPress admin username and password in order for the Article Builder posts to be automatically added subsequent to the move.

Hope that helps you and others.

Bill

We choose the domain name, or you can provide one (we just added that option yesterday.)
After the mandatory ICANN 60 day hold on registration ends, we will transfer it to you at your request.
Yes, you can transfer hosting at any time.

More details on all of the above and more are included in a "Quick Start" PDF that we send out to everyone once they receive their site.

Hi Bill and Josh,

Thnx for your answers. We'll definitely test the service now.

I wish the thank you button was showing but it isn't, otherwise I would have used it.

sounds interesting

I have a few questions if I may;

1.) 100 days of article builder content- If I already have an account with article build can I just give my details to be continuous???

2.) do you have any other examples besides the backyard gardening???     so all the sites will be basically clones aside from the domain and content???

3.0 If I purchased a 10 package can I just give you hosting details and domain registra info , lets say you set up a different account with namecheap and you just trun over the info instead of

a.) waiting 60 days
b.) transfering to a different host as this can have an effect on natural rankings- changing hosts

how are you managing your own network regading updates- etc

thanks

eddie

ps btw you guys rock  :)  which is rare for me to say as most provider are poop  :)

1. Once the site is built and you receive your WP login details, you can just change your WP password and then add the site to your AB account.
2. We have several hundred case study sites that are doing very well, but no, they have not been released yet. We've already received feedback from custoemrs who are already seeing top rankings. We'll be adding info on some of that to future mailers.
3. You can use your own domain, yes. After you place your order you'll see that option. As for hosting, you can choose the "without hosting" option that is not recurring. We'll set it up initially on our server and you'll get one free month of hosting, in which time you can trasnfer it to your host. We provide FTP/cPanel login details when done. For a new site, switching the host int he first 30 days isn't going to hurt anything in regards to SEO. I've been doing niche marketing for 8 years and have never in my life experienced that.

Sorry, I'm not understanding this one? Our own network? You mean our own personal adsense sites?

Thanks for the compliment. I'm glad you don't think of us in that other way. ;)

Yep, we sure do. Once your site is done you will receive a quick-start guide, which tells you everything you need to know about your new site. It also links to a PDF that shows you the simple host transfer process. I own everythingaboutgermany dot com if that's what you're talking about.
