Is Your Niche Jet Site Ranking?
« on: April 18, 2015, 05:24:37 PM »
Are any of you ranking your niche jet built site as is without re-writing any of the drip fed posts from AB that have the 25% duplication?  I am trying to see the value in this offer as a turn key site to see if it is possible to rank it as is or commit to the unreal amount of work involved in re-writing the 100 posts to make them 100 percent unique and not about similar topics as they are now.  Would anyone be willing to share their website url where the site is kept as is out of the box so I can see it for myself?  Thanks in advance.

Sure, http://www.backyardgardening.org has ranked for "backyard gardening" and "backyard garden" (along with many others) for a few years now. No modification of the content.

Thanks Josh, but that content doesn't look the same as the content that my two niche jet sites were given from AB.  There is no duplication that I can find in the url you provided however so I'm not sure that is what I am looking for.  I was hoping to see a site with posts that have the same title names and complete sentences with the same words in some of the paragraphs similar to my sites.  I actually cancelled my drip fed posts from AB because of my concerns and now I am wondering if I made a mistake so I thought I'd see if anyone else is ranking for the same kind of content.

If you don't do any work then you won't get any results.

The site is not a finished item, it is a platform for your own efforts.
Regard the autoposted content as being a support for the content that you add and you won't be far wrong. Every page on the site provides an opportunity for a visitor to take an action that you want them to take, the fact that a few words of some of the articles are found somewhere else is absolutely irrelevant to the person who is on your pages.

So, what actions have you set up on your site for site visitors to take?
What additional content have you added to your site?
What steps have you taken to increase the visibility of your content and your offers?

These sites will likely rank for some long tail terms but that's the case for any site that is built using decent principals. Making that site a profitable part of your online business ventures is going to be down to you and the fact that the sites are built using decent decent quality techniques is a big help for you - if you do your part!

Andrew, all I was doing was trying to get some help from someone who has used this niche jet site offer to try and understand how the AB drip fed posts were ranking.  No need to insinuate that I am lazy or expecting too much.  I am new to blogging and just trying to learn from those of you who are doing well in it.  I thought that Niche Jet was the appropriate place to do this, maybe I was wrong.

The research that I have done to date is telling me that having pages on my site which have the same story line in them even though most of it is re-spun is the wrong approach.  I was under the impression (maybe wrongly) that my content on each page or post should be of good quality that answers differing questions and/or resolves differing problems for the niche I have chosen.

So far every drip fed post I have gotten is based on similar subject topics (2 titles were exactly the same word for word) and have duplicate or similar content contained in each of them which pretty much says the same thing as the other posts.  When a visitor reads the content they're going to think that they just read the same thing in last three posts they looked at.  I don't imagine that they will stay long on the site if everything sounds the same.

Because of my lack of experience and concerns for providing quality and unique content I asked Daniel to stop my drip fed posts which he did for me.  After looking over some more of the forum posts here I started to think that maybe I jumped the gun and hence my post here to get some more advice or input.  I'm not sure if I can even get the drip posts re-instated however I still need to learn why/how this approach works.

I am not lazy or expecting the site to stay as is.  I just didn't want to have to re-write all 100 posts if that wasn't needed which I believed it was at first.  Maybe I am asking the wrong questions, I don't know.

Sorry for the long post but I don't want anyone else who sees it to think I am just looking for a free ride and expecting them to do the work for me.

In that case you made a mistake by asking about working with sites 'as is' because those who know anything already know that sites where the webmaster does nothing tend to do nothing.

It is you who seems to think you are being lazy, I certainly did not suggest you were! Many people have the idea, often fostered by vendors, that websites can earn money with no input from the site owner. You now know that this is unlikely to be the case.

Read my post objectively, remove from yourself the misreading that I suggested that you were lazy. Understand what I was telling you and see that in the context of your business.

It is unmodified ArticleBuilder content and it ranks very well.
