Condolences Jon. Welcome back.

Hello Jon? Anybody hear from Jon Leger?

Are these posts being responded to any longer? It's been quite a while since I've seen Jon post here.

Thanks

Wow that's a lot of tedious manual work, as well as error-prone. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the plan, it's certainly effective and you put a lot of thought into it, Meg. But I believe the point of software like TheBestSpinner is to automate such tedious tasks that otherwise must be done by hand.

So carrying out all these steps for each of my articles would be too much work for me, personally. I believe a better solution could be achieved by just adding the feature to TheBestSpinner. It certainly seems enough people want it.

I have studied detailed statistics about UAW articles at search engines to conclude that spinning could be immaterial to the results.

Can you elaborate? Are you saying spinning makes no difference when it comes to UAW articles?

Sequential spinning would produce highly unique articles for a handful of articles (say, 3 or 4 articles, depending on how many synonyms you use per spun phrase).

I think it would be a useful feature addition.

Yes, this adds unnecessarily to cleanup time and would be nice to get fixed.

However, when I highlight the word "package", I then see this...

The {package|packet|container|box|parcel} the man left at the gate seemed larger than he had anticipated.

How about instead of {package|packet|container|box|parcel} it shows a dropdown with the 5 words, so we can quickly eliminate words by mouse-click.

And pressing tab (or some other key) would move to the next word/phrase with synonyms.

This would make cleanup much easier.

I am bumping and tweaking this idea.

This would apply to Replace My Favorites, Replace Everyone's Favorites, and Auto-Select Synonyms:

An even more useful feature would be to choose the EXACT word length of the phrases that get replaced.

For example, only spin phrases that are 4 words or longer, or only spin phrases that are 3 words in length, etc.

To my knowledge, the Identify All Synonyms button (bottom left) is supposed to download all the various word choices to your computer to make tabbing to each word much faster.

I thought Auto Select Synonyms pulls from the global thesaurus, not Everyone's Favorites?...  Getting a bit muddled now.

I second this request.

When I add certain protected terms and hit "Replace Favorites" I occasionally get multiple useless brackets. Here's my article:

 I like scrapbooking.
I think scrapbook paper is nice.
 Goodbye.

Here are my protected terms:

 scrapbook paper
 scrapbook
 scrap

When I hit "Replace My Favorites" or "Replace Everyone's Favorites" I get the following repeated brackets in the spun article:

 I like {{scrapbook}}ing.
 I think {{{{scrapbook}} paper}} is nice.
 Goodbye.

P.S. Here are my settings:

"Replace Favorites inside spin-formatted text" is checked
"Enable Visual brace matching" is checked
Everything else is unchecked

You guys went way over my head with that one.

Trust me, I'm not flaming you zbikenut, but I'm honestly surprised that you don't understand this concept.

Earlier you had professed you are the ultimate power user who is smarter than most TBS users, did you not? Again, I'm not attacking you (I had even defended you in your earlier inflammatory post). But anyone who professes to be a power user should definitely understand this sentence merge concept.

If anyone has used WebsiteContentWizard before (which is now defunct), it had similar capabilities, but was extremely awkwardly implemented.
